You don't have to pray today.
The Rosary, the Jesus prayer, The Psalms, the words, the thoughts...
put them all away.
Sit and be.
Practice nothing.
Be awake.
Be mindful.
Be aware...
of God's incredible, overwhelming love for you.
Let Her Spirit seep into your soul.
If the stillness stirs you
gratefully return the favor.
Pray not from fear or obligation
but as love with love
not as you think you must
but as you can.
